Hi, I’m Toni!

A Portland, Oregon Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Hello, I am so glad you are here! I have such a big heart for photography and the humans that I get to capture!

As a human, my friends would describe me as “loving,” “passionate,” “witty,” and “big mom energy.” I really enjoy taking care of the people and things around me. I went to school and got a degree in Family and Human Services, which I like to think guides me in how I approach all of my client interactions.

Why do I love, love?

Wedding and couples photography found me at a very interesting point in my life. I am a long time hobbyist of taking people’s photos, I was always the one making my friends and family pose for a quick photo op at events! Around 2017 my hobby started turning more into a passion. I quickly fell in love with taking portraits of people! I have always had the most fun with couples. Inevitably, I started taking photos of weddings!. At first it was only people that I knew, and it has grown so much more beyond that and I am so thankful for all of the couples that have let me be part of their special day. As the wedding and couples part of my business began to take off, I was actually going through my own divorce at the time. In a moment in my life where I think it would have been easy to grow bitter, or jealous of witnessing all of these magical moments of people being so madly in love, instead I have been able to witness, year after year, the way that love exists in so many different ways, shapes and forms. Instead I have been able see deep friendships, family members going the extra mile, personal touches that have brought me to tears, and it has all been a wonderful and magical process of helping me reshape and expand my knowledge of what love is, and how I practice it in my daily life.

FAQs

How long have you been a photographer?

I have been taking pictures of people for my entire life, but I started getting serious about it in 2015.

How would you describe your work?

My style of imagery is meant to feel warm, connected, and nostalgic.

I place an emphasis on making images last a lifetime and beyond. I use a mix of posing, prompts, and letting natural moments unfold during our photoshoots to get you a variety of gorgeous images for your photo album.

What is your favorite thing to photograph?

I love capturing people doing what they love! Sometimes that means being with the people they love, or running their own business. As long as I can tell that the person is passionate about what they are doing, I am on board.

How does payment work?

Once we decide on a date, I send a contract and invoice for a deposit that secures your date. Everything is online and automatic to make it easy for you.

What if we have bad weather?

Bad weather means different things to different people! In the PNW, it is not uncommon to have rain at any given point. I encourage people to embrace the day we are given. If it is truly awful, we can work together to find a new date.

What should I wear?

Whatever is going to make you feel most comfortable! If you need inspiration, you can find some on my Pinterest boards, but the most important thing in choosing outfits is that you feel like yourself, and you feel confident. This is a chance to show off your finest fabrics!
